I was so excited when I came across Enjoy Life chocolate chips a few years ago when I found out about my food allergies.
There was no way I was going to live life without chocolate so I was thrilled to find this allergy friendly brand. Their chocolate chips taste amazing, are top 8 allergen free, and are made with simple ingredients (this post is not sponsored, I just love their products!).
So let’s talk about how you make them!
GLUTEN FREE AND VEGAN CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
- Gluten free and vegan chocolate: I use “Enjoy Life” semi sweet or dark chocolate chips
- Coconut oil: avocado oil works as well
- Strawberries
- Sprinkles: optional, I like Sweetapolita gluten free and vegan sprinkles
HOW TO MAKE GLUTEN FREE AND VEGAN CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES:
- Microwave chocolate and oil: Add the chocolate and coconut oil to a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 15 second increments, stirring between each time, until the chocolate is completely melted.
- Cover strawberries in chocolate: Dip the strawberries into the chocolate and rotate to evenly coat. Place the strawberries onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Decorate: Optionally add sprinkles before the chocolate hardens.
- Refrigerate: Place the strawberries in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes or until the chocolate hardens.
