Every year around Christmas time, my family and I drive around all of the surrounding neighborhoods and look for Christmas lights. It’s one of our favorite things to do together and seeing the joy on my daughter’s face as we drive around is the best!
To make it extra special, I make some homemade hot chocolate and always bring a special treat for us to enjoy while we look at the lights. This year I made one of my daughter’s favorites, puppy chow!
I thought it might be fun if instead of just driving around and looking at lights, we actually did a Christmas light scavenger hunt. My daughter loves playing i-Spy games so I thought this would be an awesome twist on that.
I created this super cute printable Christmas Light Scavenger Hunt Checklist for us to use on our search for lights this year and my daughter LOVED it!
I also picked up a pack of cute little Christmas stamps so instead of checking off the different lights on the list, my daughter got to use her stamp. She thought this was extra special! Here are the stamps I got this year:
